Uninstall TFA
1) Check TFA_HOME.
$ grep TFA_HOME= /etc/init.d/init.tfa TFA_HOME=/u01/app/12.2.0.1/grid/tfa/racnode1/tfa_home
2) Uninstall TFA as root user.

Install TFA
1)Install TFA locally as root user on each RAC node.

2) Startup OSWatcher with gzip option.

Hello Sir. Do you know if I can uninstall TFA if it’s more than 180 days old? I got error
# tfactl uninstal

It appears that I have to update TFA to a newer version even if all I want to do is to uninstall it.
